Therefore, this beginning is not only exhausting, but challenging too.
But, I can count my blessings when I say, "At least I'm not a coach." Coaches have different challenges than I do in the classroom, and our football and volleyball coaches' seasons start within the next week. So, the least I can do is make them a card:
Here they are:

PTI: Have a Ball, Boy Basics, Mat Stack 1 die, Woodgrain Impression Plate |

PTI: Have a Ball, Boy Basics, Cloud die, Fiskars grass punch |
I used watercolors and blending on the flames from Boy Basics. I'll link this up to this week's Make It Monday at PTI. Here's a close-up:
Hopefully, my routine will begin to get, well more of a routine, and I'll be able to get more crafting done. Hope to see you soon!
Thanks for visiting My Happy Place!

What a great combination of stamps, Leanne. Very creative to add the flames to the balls and the inside sentiment is perfect too. Hope your schedule soon settles down. I'm a retired teacher, so I can certainly relate. Septembers were always a brutal month!! Take care.
LOVE how you added the flames to the sports balls...
so creative! :)
And I hope this school year settles down soon for you...
I know teachers everywhere are having a tougher time right now...
thinking of you and sending hugs! :)
Oh, these are so perfect, Leanne! I love them!
Love these cards. They are so perfect for sports. I'll have to remember this idea when I am making coaches cards next. I hope things settle down into a nice routine for you soon.
How innovative! I love your creative insight. These cards are fantastic! The flames are too cool.
You are a jewel....too sweet!!! The cards are amazing and the thoughtfulness is over-the-top!!!
Cool cards. Love the backgrounds on both cards. So creative to use the flame.
You are so thoughtful for making these cards for the coaches. Hope they have a good season.
Ok stop it :)!! These are too cute! You are so sweet to do this for them and they are great! Been thinking about you a lot as I have sent my little ones back to school this year.
