Beth has motivated many of us on the PTI forum to use our stamps for our scrapbooking layouts. Like many other people on the forum, I was a scrapbooker first. Then PTI came into my life, and scrapping took a backseat to cardmaking. I was thrilled when Beth opened the floor for layout challenges.
This month's challenge was to create our own background paper with stamps. PERFECT! I've had these zoo pictures sitting around waiting to be put on a layout, so there is no time like the present.
I love PTI's background stamps. I especially love the ones that are easy to line up. BB: Tin Type is so easy (even a caveman could do it! [sorry, had to do it])
I'm not sure I've used the other two stamps in this set because I love, love, LOVE this one so much.
Here's my layout:
I am becoming a CAS scrapbooker lately, perhaps because it is easy and fast. I need to get caught up. You can see I'm only on November, and right now it is June. I set my own deadlines. The facing page is made up of more pictures with some patterned zoo paper. No PTI stamps on it, so I didn't take a picture.
Thanks, Beth! Keep up the motivation please!

Your zoo layout is really cute. I love that tin type background stamp. I also think it is really easy to line up. Clean and simple is starting to be my motto on cards and scrapbook pages. Your little boy is adorable and it looks like he had a great time at the zoo. I'm so glad you are sharing your scrapbook pages.
Love it, very cute! Great job with this challenge.
What a great way to use both Tin Types and Vintage Labels, Lee Anne! It looks like you guys were having fun that day! P.S. I love your little twine "bow tie!"
You did a very good job using only background stamp set! well done..
Funny, Lee Anne! I am using Tin Types, also, and using it just like you did!!! I just need to trim my photos, and make a journaling spot... and a big teddy bear... maybe some buttons, still...ok, lol, I'm not quite done! Babies- Beth
Such a great layout. It's sun to see how our stamps can jazz things up just a little.
I'm back, on the blog hop, lol, abd have to tell you that your page inspired me to go out and buy 12 x 12 kraft paper, lol!
Love the colors on this layout. And the labels for journaling spots - big enough to see but not to take over the whole thing. I always forget to ink the edges of things but it looks great and 'finished.'
A lovely page. Great job with the BG stamping.
