Our theme for the Blog Hop is PTI. In each project you see, we have used something that starts with a P, something that starts with a T and something that starts with an I.
I was able to get two of my ideas completed and ready for our hop. Here's my first one:
How does this fit into the theme?
P = Patterned Paper (Turning a New Leaf from PTI)
T = Turning a New Leaf stamp set, Twine, Tea Dye Duo
I = Inside and Out: Thank You stamp set and Impression Plate (Woodgrain)My second card is a little more Spring-y:
How does this fit into the theme?
P = Plum Pudding cardstock, ribbon and ink
T = Tags for Spring
I = Impression Plate (Linen)Here's a little bit more about me:
-My PTI forum name is - Lee Anne (I got lucky!)
-Where am I - I live in Texas.
-My day job - I'm a middle school science teacher. (There are several teachers in our group!)
-My family - I just celebrated my 10-year anniversary with my wonderful husband, and we have a 5-year old son who keeps us running around. I grew up the youngest of 3 girls. My older sisters still try to boss me around, even though I'm 40 years old now.
-When I discovered PTI - I discovered PTI between the February and March releases in 2009 and made my first purchase in March. I purchased Wishing You and Flower Garden in my first purchase and they are still some of my favorite sets. In fact, last summer I did a tribute to both sets. I want everyone to love both of these sets!
- How long I've been a Doll - Last year, about this time, the forum was really busy and several blog groups were forming. I decided to join with this one, and I filled the last spot available. Again, I got lucky! It's a great group.
-Favorite PTI products (besides stamps) - I'm loving the dies that PTI comes out with, and the cardstock is like no other!
-Favorite PTI stamp sets - That's tough! I love Every Day Button bits for it's whimsical nature, Flower Garden for its versatility, Turning a New Leaf for its background building ability, and Tiny Treats Valentines because it can be used for almost anything!
-Favorite PTI color - Pure Poppy
-Favorite PTI color combo - Hibiscus Burst and Spring Moss
That's all from me today! Make sure you leave a comment here before you leave so that you can be in the drawing for the stamp set we are giving away. You are on your way to Laurie Beth now. What a treat!

How awesome that you made TWO cards for the challenge :) And I think you were the one to come up with the idea in the first place? What a wonderful idea!! You have a great sense of style for your cards :)
You made 2!!
I was doing good getting one...
and both are truly gorgeous!
Love the "patchwork" on the first...
I'm going to have to give sewing a try...
LOVE them!
And loved getting to know you a better...
you are such a Doll...
in all ways.
Hello Lee Anne, glad to meet you! Your cards are beautiful. I love all things PTI and would be hard pressed to pick a favorite myself! Hoping I can make atleast one card to link up, but we'll see.
Great cards. This is my first blog hop and I think it will be fun.
I LOVE these! The first one is my favorite because I love that paper pad (one of my favorites from PTI), yet it sits on my shelf very underused!!! I love the quilted look of that card, and the focal panel with the wood grain embossing and the leaves is STUNNING (can't wait to get a die for those leaves lol!)
Thanks so much for organizing this hop! What a fun way to start my day! I love these cards...especially the first with the woodgrain texture on the white panel...adds the perfect little somethin' somethin'. :)
Love both cards, but I especially enjoy the first card. I'm drawn to earth tones and I love how you used Turning a new Leaf.
These are adorable Lee Anne! I love how you finished the inside and really like your quilted blocks and stitching! Your Springy card is so beautiful too!
Lovely cards!
Both cards are awesome Lee Anne! I really need to order Turning a New Leaf now (plus the paper). Don't get me started talking about the quilted background...I may never stop.
Love your patchwork card. I will definitely be casing it. How fun to have your Paper Dolls group.

Lee Anne, you are amazing! I can't believe you have a family AND you teach crazy 6th graders (aren't they sweet though?) AND you organized a blog hop! Plus the cards are gorgeous. I'm especially taken with the rustic patchwork wonder on the turning a new leaf card. It's incredible.
Lee Anne, the first card is bursting with awesomeness. Seriously. I love every single layer and embellishment. And the second card is so sophisticated. I love the edger you used. It's beautiful with the ribbon right above it.
I LOVE your 2 cards, I especially love your 1st one, since I love that paper collection! Gorgeous!!
Awesome card! I so love that quilted look Lee Anne! This is really pretty!! Great job on this and thank you for all your hard work! So lucky to have you in our group!
Woohoo, teachers in the HOUSE! Okay, seriously..you've made me want Turning a New Leaf even more. I think I'll have to add it to this month's order. The plum pudding card is beautiful!

WOW, two fabulous cards. Love the colors and the patchwork on the first one and who doesn't love butterflies :o?
Organizing the blog hop AND making 2 amazing cards for your post! Incredible! Your cards are beautiful. Turning a New Leaf is one of my favorite go-to sets and so is the paper. The inked woodgrain center really caught my eye. Love the springy card. Nice to know you're a science teacher. Now I know who to go to when I need help with my kids' homework. You'll be hearing from me! :)
Two great cards Lee Anne! I really like the patchwork quilt look on the first card. I never have the patience to do that, but I should. Your second card is pretty too. I've enjoyed getting to know you better.
HOLY COW, LEEANNE! Look at all of that absolutely perfect sewing! My goodness. I adore it. Your second card - perfection. I love purple and that little butterfly is adorable. It was a joy reading about you. It looks like we both found PTI around the same time. I can't thank you enough for organizing the Hop. I have loved every minute of it. {HUGS!!!}

Ok, LOVE the cards, esp the patchwork quilt. I just rec'd my first sewing machine for Christmas, so I may have to try my hand at that one. Love that you're a science teacher!! Science was one of my fave subjects (hence my profession, lol)
